Nestled in the peaceful village of Katavati – just a 10-minute walk from lively Apollonia – our traditional yet spacious house is the perfect place to connect with loved ones, explore the island’s hidden beauty and enjoy the slower rhythms of life.
Spend your mornings exploring nearby trails, hidden corners, and beaches of the island; your afternoons sunbathing, playing games, or chasing the shade in one of the many quiet spots around the courtyards; and your evenings gathered around the outdoor table with friends and family, sharing food, laughter and stories under the stars.
Whether you’re traveling with friends, family, or a group of up to 8, Kypseli House offers the balance of serenity and community – close to everything, yet a world apart from the noise.

🌿 The Space
- 120 sq.m. spacious home, comfortably hosting up to 8 guests.
- 3 Bedrooms:
- 1 bedroom with double bed + child’s bed (up to 6 years)
- 1 bedroom with two single beds
- 1 room with a sofa bed for 2 (or as a dedicated workspace)
- 2 Additional Sofa Beds: one in each of the two living rooms (single use each)
- 2 Bathrooms: stylish walk-in rain showers with cottage-style ceilings (2m high)
- Living & Dining Areas: spacious lounges, dining table for 6+, 50″ Smart TV, and plenty of cozy corners to read or relax
🌞 Outdoor Bliss
- •Multiple courtyards with seating for every hour of the day
- Al fresco dining under the arbor, morning coffee by fig and lemon trees
- Sunbathing on deckchairs, playing chess or cards, or following the shade as the sun moves across the sky
Special Resident:
Our friendly turtle Markella (12 years old!) lives in her special spot by the door. She is regularly fed, but you’re welcome to offer her fresh water or fruit and greens – she loves it! 🐢

🔎 Good to Know
- No private parking, but you can drive up to the entrance to unload luggage (note: large jeeps don’t fit).
- Free public parking is available 5–10 minutes downhill at the lot opposite the ELLIN gas station.
- A utility pole is visible from the garden, but poses no safety concerns – most guests don’t even notice it.

Visitor Access
You can reach Kypseli House Sifnos by vehicle from Sifnos Port (7.2 km / 15 minutes).
When you arrive, we recommend driving right up to the house first to drop off your luggage, and then heading to the public parking. Follow the signs to Katavati, enter the main lane of the village, pass the hotel Galini, and continue straight until you reach the small church of Christos/Agia Paraskevi. Right there you can unload your bags at the entrance of the house (at the end of the small lane). Afterwards, continue a short distance to leave your car at the public parking lot opposite the ELLIN gas station.
We advise you to rent a vehicle (car, scooter, etc.) if you wish to explore the island easily.
